Stop end roof finials
We offer some decorative stop end finials with a variety of finial crest head designs and sculptures. Some can be used on a gable end roof and others can be used on both a gable end roof and a hip end roof
The stop end ridge tile bases have one flat blocked off section at the front and the back is open. When compared to gable end finials, gable ends typically have two open sections on the ridge base (one at the front and one at the back)
Mortar is normally used to seal in the front of ridge tiles or roof finials if they are the last ridge tile in the ridge tile run. The stop end finials can be used on the gable end (or hip end depending on the piece) as the last ridge tile in the run and as the front is filled in it can give a neater finish
